Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at FiberSight, located in Coimbra, Portugal. As a Co-Founder and CTO, you will be responsible for leading the technical vision of the company and driving the development of cutting-edge fiber optic sensing technologies. You will collaborate with other members of the executive team to define the company's strategic direction and ensure the successful execution of technology initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee the technical team and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience and success in a technical leadership role, preferably as a CTO or similar.

• Strong background in fiber optic sensing technologies and related industries.

• Strong background in programming languages, preferably Python.

• Expertise in developing and implementing innovative and reliable solutions.

• Proficiency in technical project management and resource allocation.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
